Yeah, I realized it was cut off. It depends on how big your browser window is. I just resized the split-bar above to make this frame bigger to read the whole thing. I'll edit your message so the page is opened in a new window.
I think the reason it gets cut off without a scrollbar is that the content is embedded Flash, not regular HTML. The explanation is a bit technical: I think the Flash area is resized to fill the space of the browser window (or frame), and when the window is too small, the Flash area just gets truncated at the edges. The browser doesn't add scrollbars because it thinks everything is fitting in the page (because, technically, it is; the actual Flash area is within the boundaries of the window). To fix this, the designer of the Flash would have to either write some built-in scrollbar support or adjust the design so that the comic was resized according to the size of the Flash area.
(By the way, it's kind of a good idea to log in before you post messages. Otherwise you can't edit your messages later and your real account will get sent e-mail notifications for your own postings, since, as the board sees it, "Ricardo" is a different user than "ricardo". I guess the message "If you have an account, please log in on the right before composing your message" still isn't obvious enough... ;-) |
